Craniosacral Biodynamics is a somatic holistic approach that evolved from classical osteopathic work and craniosacral therapy and incorporates elements of trauma recovery.
As a practitioner of Craniosacral Biodynamics, I assume an inherent intelligence of the body for healing and ever-present health. I relate primarily to tidal fluid movements of the body, the tone of the nervous system, and the continuous supporting connections of the fascial system in the body.
The establishment of a good, safe relationship between me as the person accompanying the process and the other person, is important. This enables a space that provides a deep experience of regulation and (re-) connection to health. This happens with specific questions and guided body experience and by touching with my hands. Gentle and sometimes also firmer touch take place clothed while sitting as well as lying down. In doing so, I address physical conditions in a non-invasive way. And I work with the emotional and psychological parts as a reference and orientation – always to adress to a vitalizing and relaxed state, to create new awareness for physical processes and to activate self-healing powers.
